The Viet script is used for writing 3 Tai languages: Tai Dam (also known as Black Tai or Tai Noir), Tai Dón (also known as White Tai or Tai Blanc), and Thai Song (also known as Lao Song or Lao Song Dam). These languages are used in parts of northern Laos, central Thailand, and north-western Vietnam.
